夏日

烈曰头顶烧，
人在炉上烤。
才饮一杯茶，
蝉儿枝头闹。

故人梦中來，
遥问故乡好。
万水千山隔，
天涯共此朝。

Hot Summer

The sun burning overhead,
people are seeming
like barbecue over a stove.
At teatime,
several cicadas are singing merrily 
in the tree 

Yesterday's pal in dream saying hello to me,
Many mountains and rivers blocking us,
thousands of miles away seperating us,
we're nerver to part to enjoy the summer days.
