江堤春雨

烟雨珠帘罩长堤，
一江春水鸟空啼。
风吹雨打催人老，
袅袅炊烟马蹄疾。

       THE BANK IN SPRING RAIN

With a curtain of rain from the sky,
the long bank is coated in fog.
With no birds twittering in the sky
the river is flowing
slowly in rain
Rain and wind making people older and older,
seeing cooking smoke rising from
house to house,
they're busy struggling for their lives like horses running quickly.
