泰戈尔《吉檀迦利》之六十三 中英文对照

原文；

       Thou hast made me known to friends I knew not.Thou hast
  given me seats in homes not my own.Thou hast brought the 
  distant near and made a brother of the stranger.
       I am uneasy at heart when I have to leave my accustomed
  shelter; I forgot that there abides the old in the new,and that
  there also thou abidest.
       Through birth and death,in this world or others,wherever
  thou leadest me it is thou,the same,the one companion of my
  endless life who ever linkest my heart with bonds of joy to the
  unfamiliar.
       When one knows thee,then alien there is none,then no door
  is shut.Oh,grant me my prayer that I may never lose the bliss of
  the touch of the one in the play of the many.

译文；
       
       那些陌生的朋友们，
       是你使我与之相识又相知，
       那本不属于我的家，
       你也让我有个座位来歇下。
       那些遥远的，
       是你携来在眼前，
       素昧平生者，
       是你使之相契犹如伯仲间。

       当我无奈地离开久居的茅檐，
       我的内心惶恐又不安。
       我只是忘记了，
       一切的新之中，
       必有旧的居其间，
       也一定有你始终栖身那里面。

       经由生与死，
       此世或冥乡，
       不论你将领我到何方，
       是你，
       我永世轮回的生命中，
       唯一的伴侣，
       始终如一在我的眼中永不变，
       总是用快乐为纽带，
       把我的心与未知紧相连。

       如果有谁得识你，
       就再也没有异己者，
       这世上的大门再也不会紧关闭。
       请应允我的求祈：
       众生之乐中，
       不论与谁执手同乐在一起，
       不要让我失去这福气。
