Who, so good-hearted, yesterday night
Re-thatched, with jade powder crystal clear,
The many huts at the foot of mountain,
And made each of them like a white bear?
The dazzling pleasant light is shining everywhere.
Underneath the heavy snow, the corn barn seems to fall.
Whom will I look for to be my bride? The pear Tree
Has put on the wedding dress, standing near the wall.
The shepherd has no choice but to stay home,
Because the grass is covered by the snow deep to thigh.
The sheep are eager to get out of the fold,
When they see the sun is rising high.
In this sunny forenoon after the snowy night,
I am willing to be that small, lost dear,
Which, to the quiet valley with bare trees,
Is running across the field in fear.
